SMTP Check
Check a public mail server’s connectivity, SMTP greeting, EHLO capabilities and TLS support. No email is sent.
One resolved IP is tested from SecuraWall, using the administrator-configured connection, reply and overall timeouts. Other IPs and your local network may behave differently. Only public internet addresses are allowed.
Observation limits
This tool does not authenticate, send MAIL FROM, RCPT TO or DATA, or test open relays, recipients, inbox placement or delivery. A successful connection does not guarantee mail acceptance or uptime. Certificate checks use the entered target name; an IP address may not match the hostname on the certificate.
